Get Away Club
The Get Away Club caters for “well” older people who can manage independently on outings. The club focuses on the “Wellness” principle, encouraging people to stay healthy, fit and active through the later years of their life. It facilitates recreational and social opportunities through a range of group activities such as bus trips, movies, theatre, concerts, weekends away and outdoor fun.
The Get Away Club Manager can also provide information on other groups in the community which offer opportunities for broader participation such as artistic and cultural pursuits, seniors’ support groups and technological matters.
