Open Options
With Open Options, individual plans are developed for adults with disabilities to provide and promote opportunities for community access, recreation and centre-based activities. DSC personal funding is required for this service.
Open Options caters for people who have a permanent disability, no other day options available to them and who can self-fund or who have DSC Post-School Options or Alternative to Employment Education funding.
Open Options offers recreation, skill development and the opportunity to form friendships. Activities include: arts and crafts, singing and dancing, sensory stimulation, gardening, swimming and canoeing, sport, assistance with access to TAFE, computer access and participation in local events.
Open Options operates from Monday to Friday.
